RECYCLE GLASS

glass jar, glass bottles

Glass

Glass is a common recyclable that can be recycled infinitely. Glass bottles or jars have nothing to do in the trash and should be recycled. Yet, for almost 3 years residents could not put glass in the green cart. But, since April 2019, glass is back and can be placed in the curbside recycling bin.

Alternatively, you can also drop off your glass jars and bottles at the below recycling locations:

You can also opt for a private pick up service:

What is NOT accepted:

  • Ceramics, such as dishware, ovenware (like Pyrex), and decorative items.

  • Mirror or window glass.

  • Crystal.

  • Light bulbs. Light bulbs should be recycled.

  • Metal or plastic caps and lids. Top metal cap from glass jar can be recycled and placed in the recycling bin.
